Hi I'm Connie Owner of Above and Beyond Hair and Body.
I grew up in Lake Placid. It has been a total pleasure for me to make this salon a place where you have the opportunity to have an assortment of beauty treatments. Now being open for more than 15 years, we strive to make each and every visit enjoyable. We have a talented staff of stylist that can take care of all your beauty needs.

Personally, I am a Born Again Christ and always strive to maintain a Christ like atmosphere in our salon. I graduated from cosmetology school 1978 from SFCC. I married my high school sweetheart in 1978. We have two children and 3 grandchildren. Music is my second love. Throughout the years I have lead many children's musicals and programs. I hope you give us a try. We would love to serve you.

Being a Cosmetologist for almost 20 years, I continue to refine and perfect my skills as a stylist by education and devotion to my clients. Staying up with the latest hair styles and trends. I work with all textures of hair.
I delight in listening to my clients and doing my very best to please them. My time is devoted to to each client so they have my complete attention. I have advanced Cutting, Coloring and Highlighting skills. I have included hair extension in my services.. Below are pictures of my work.

In 2010 I graduated from Bradenton Beauty and Barber Academy and began my career as a Cosmetologist shortly after graduation. I chose this career for a few reasons. One the freedom of being your own boss and two most importantly the pure joy in what the beauty of this industry can be. You can restore your clients with confidence, joy, and relaxation, while also resetting their time by relieving some of that stress of what to do with their hair and nails. I will do my very best to try and achieve at least one of these with each of my clients. I work with all textures and types of hair and enjoy all aspects of my career. My specialties are asymmetrical, inverted bobs, highlights and colors. I enjoy the end results and the relationship built between my clients and myself.
